What is the Self-Paced Online Leadership Journey?
The Online Self-Paced Leadership Journey is a self-guided, online, modular program designed for developing leadership skills. This 3-module program provides the leader with tools and techniques to improve each of the 12 key Leadership Compass Behaviors. The program introduces the leader to development tools and techniques that are time proven and highly effective, while maintaining focus on each of the 12 key Leadership Compass Behaviors that every effective leader must have.
Each topic is covered in-depth with video content, is then summarized and followed by engaging exercises for reinforcement of the topic being discussed. The material is further enriched with self-reflection and cohort interactions using the Leadership Travel Journal and the Leadership Journey Community Forum. Additionally, participants have access to monthly, Coach facilitated, interactive cohort support forums.
This content rich program combines industry proven assessments with techniques that PeopleTek has been successfully using for more than 25 years. The leader participant will have access to the valuable assessments such as MBTi® Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Everything DiSC®, Listening and Communication, Dimensions of a Team and Thomas-Killman Conflict Modes®.
Who should take the Self-Paced Online Leadership Journey?
This program is for new, emerging or experienced Leaders that wish to grow their leadership skills. It also is for Leaders that have taken the Leadership Journey in the past and wish to refresh their skills and for “Leaders of Leaders” that want to understand what their direct reports have experienced in the Leadership Journey. The participants of this program are generally highly self-motivated individuals and are familiar with completing self-guided programs.
The Self-Paced Leadership Journey saves time for Leaders that are self-motivated. Learning through e-Learning generally takes participants 40-60% less time to complete material than in a traditional learning setting. Completing self-paced material takes a strong personal commitment and discipline. The Self-Paced Online Journey employs a Journey Concierge (OJC) to assist in any way required. The OJC also provides personalized reminders, as well as access to additional fee based coaching services if needed. Additionally, participants are placed in a cohort which amps up the motivation and gives access to peer support.
