About Kimberly Kingsley

Kimberly Kingsley is an educator, therapist, and author dedicated to promoting wellbeing and performance in others through best practices in the fields of positive psychology, communication, mindfulness, and flow science. Kimberly attended Arizona State University and Northern Arizona University where she received a bachelor’s degree in communication and a master’s degree in education with an emphasis in counseling. Her passion for teaching communication also led her to complete 20 hours of graduate study in the areas of organizational and interpersonal communication.

Prior to joining The Flow Research Collective, she served as communication and counseling faculty in higher education for twenty-one years at Scottsdale Community College where she spearheaded and oversaw the community mindful meditation program. In addition to teaching, Kimberly delivered talks and workshops for faculty and employees on topics such as flow, mindfulness and conflict resolution.

Her academic pursuits combined with a passion for wellness led Kimberly to the art and science of flow. Since that time, she has helped thousands of people move toward greater mastery in their work and lives using the transformative principles and practices of flow. Kimberly has been invited to deliver talks on the power of flow to organizations such as Axon and Aterra Design; and was featured as a guest on the daytime talk shows Arizona Midday and Sonoran Living.

Kimberly ran a thriving counseling practice before entering higher education, which ignited her long-standing desire to serve. She has a deep interest in helping people manage their personal energy and, to that end, has written four books including, The Energy Cure: How to Recharge Your Life 30 Seconds at a Time. Kimberly finds flow when writing, coaching, and listening to live music. She lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with her family, and when it’s not 110 degrees, she spends as much time as possible outside enjoying the sunshine.
