We\u2019re not talking about formal feedback sessions or performance evaluations, but rather monthly sessions to keep in touch and build relationships.<\/span><br \/><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">We\u2019ve known leaders in the past that kicked off each session simply asking if there was anything the person wanted to talk about, if the person didn\u2019t provide a topic, the session ended. That\u2019s not what we have in mind.<\/span><br \/><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">These informal one-on-one sessions are a great way to learn more about each person and continually build your relationship with them. Here are some ideas to learn more:<\/span><br \/><br \/><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">What are their likes? Dislikes?<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">What do they do when not at work?<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Do they have a family? Pets? Hobbies?<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">What are their career aspirations?<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">What skillset would they like to develop?<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">What\u2019s their ideal job?<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Where do they see themselves in 2 years? 5 years? 10 years?<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">What do they view as their &#8220;magic dust&#8221;? (their strengths and what they enjoy doing)<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ask in general how they are doing.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If you\u2019ve both taken personality assessments (ex.
