In it, Lencioni shares a model that reflects that in order for a team to accomplish the results they desire, all team members must overcome the:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Absence of Trust<\/li>\n<li>Fear of Conflict<\/li>\n<li>Lack of Commitment<\/li>\n<li>Avoidance of Accountability<\/li>\n<li>Inattention to Results<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Along similar lines, Lesley Wright and Marti D Smye, Ph.D, authors of Corporate Abuse: How &#8220;Lean and Mean&#8221; Robs People and Profits, shared nine rules you want to avoid having in your workplace.<\/p>\n<p>9 RULES OF DYSFUNCTION TO AVOID AT ALL COST!<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Do not discuss the undiscussable<\/li>\n<li>Feelings are undiscussable in the workplace<\/li>\n<li>Never say exactly what you mean to the person who most needs to hear it<\/li>\n<li>One mistake and you\u2019re out<\/li>\n<li>We\u2019ll take credit for your good ideas and punish you for your failures<\/li>\n<li>Everything you are belongs to the company<\/li>\n<li>Do as we say and don\u2019t ask questions<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019re not here to enjoy yourself; you\u2019re here to work<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t try to change anything<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>So, although these may seem obvious, they were found to exist in more than a handful of corporate cultures.
