Yesterday the United States celebrated Independence Day. It\u2019s a time for celebration and reflection, and it\u2019s also a good time to be inspired by leadership and courage.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve talked before about how being a leader is not easy. It requires courage and commitment, a desire for change, and the need to motivate and inspire others.<\/p>\n

\u201cMen make history, and not the other way around. In periods where there is no leadership, society stands still. Progress occurs when courageous, skillful leaders seize the opportunity to change things for the better\u201d.\u00a0 <\/em>

In 1776 there were 56 individuals that were true leaders; they were\u00a0courageous, they were risk takers, and they certainly weren\u2019t fearful of change!<\/p>\n
