Many believe President Grover Cleveland was instrumental in the creation of the holiday in order to improve labor relations, and as a way to pay tribute to the American worker who supplied the country with strength, freedom, and leadership.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The labor movement and the American workplace\u00a0has come a long way since 1882, but strong leadership and the ability to inspire others and\u00a0obtain results continue to be key drivers for all businesses and organizations.<\/p>\n<p>Labor Day is not just celebrated in the United States; it\u2019s an international holiday recognized around the globe, with some variances on the day of celebration.<\/p>\n<p>Reflect on your leadership contributions.
