For those that have not, it was founded by Nick Swinmurn\u00a0in 1999 as an online shoe company.\u00a0By 2000, reported revenue was $1.6 million, and in 2009 they were acquired by Amazon for a reported $1.2 billion.<\/p>\n<p>What makes them stand out? They are known for their amazing corporate culture, with the \u00a0goal to \u201cdeliver wow\u201d \u00a0and \u201chappiness\u201d to both\u00a0customers and\u00a0employees.
