As a native
of Philadelphia, Ronnie Karlin moved to Miami in 1974 to attend
the University of Miami. As a psychology major, Ronnie took
her affinity for understanding people and produced outstanding
results in sales and management for companies like Harris/3M,
AT&T, Olsten Staffing and Alternative Resources Corporation.
With her
combined 20 years of experience in business, technology and
recruiting she joined partners with Gary Ramphal and created
Global Resource Partners, Inc.
Ronnie developed a business model that commits Global to understanding
the goals and objectives of their clients, as well as those
of their candidates, ensuring the best possible fit. The firm
searches, evaluates and offers the most qualified Executive
Management, Information Technology and Accounting/Finance professionals
for highly selective companies in South Florida.
With Ronnie
as Partner, Global had been successful in meeting their fiscal
goals by establishing and fostering personal business relationships,
direct marketing and establishing partner relationships with
other professionals.
In an effort
to respond to today's changes in the job market, Ronnie offers
her "Hiring for Keeps" seminar to clients, prospective
clients, organizations and associations. "Hiring for Keeps"
is accredited by the AICPA (American Institute of Public Accountants)
for Continuing Professional Education, but benefits anyone involved
in the hiring process.
Ronnie also
serves as a consultant and coaches Executive Management in applying
Global's FITness Model to facilitate growth, increase productivity
and decrease employee turnover costs.
Ronnie is
active in the community. She currently serves as President of
Women's Executive Club and for the last four years has co-chaired
the Fund Raising committee that provides scholarships and supports
Women Empowering Women. As part of her involvement in WEC, Ronnie
